Bespoke (pronounced bee-SPOKE) is a term used for an individually- or custom-made product or service. Traditionally applied to custom-tailored clothing, the term has been extended to information technology, especially for software consulting services. Typically, software consulting companies offer packaged software (already created and generally applicable), and bespoke software for those client needs that can't be satisfied by packaged software. Bespoke software is often called custom or custom-designed software.
In essence, our bespoke software service means that our team of over 20 software specialists can make almost any software or software functionality that you can define or describe clearly. There are almost no limits to what we can achieve for your company, although for smaller projects we will often suggest working from the basis of one or more open source systems which can save thousands of hours of programming time - thus reducing your budgets a great deal.
Bespoke is a name derived from bespeak, which was used as early as 1583 to refer to the ordering of goods.
