How much difference is there between websites?
A website is a website is a website . . . or not. Some ordinary companies set
up by ordinary local people make tens of thousands a month through their sites.
The vast majority work all hours, scrimp and save and make next to nothing until
they give up or go bust. The website is the key to this. A website is not just a
website.
How to build a better website.
It’s not magic – it needs skill, it needs experience, it needs the right
tools and it needs know how . . . It also needs thousands of hours of research
and training and hundreds of hours of highly skilled hard work, A successful
website is more than a business card or brochure. A successful website brings in
the customers that you need to make your business succeed while you focus on
your core skills. Realistically you are not going to build a business that
supports you and your family for a few hundred pounds made by a techie in their
back room. Prove it yourself.
How difficult can it be to make my website succeed?
Imagine that you are one of your customers. Try going to google.co.uk and
type in the words that they would most likely use to find you. Typically you
will find literally millions of results. Now think about it. A typical website
made by a typical web design company and “optimized for internet searches) might
appear on page twenty thousand of the search. A good one might appear on page
two hundred. Only the top three or four entries on the first page are likely to
actually get enough business to survive on.
From our experience – and that is about as extensive as internet experience
gets - our founders build their first websites in 1994 and worked with BT on the
development of their very first eCommerce systems) - from our experience – those
companies at the top of the first page of the search results - will thrive and
generate enough business to make their company a great success without any other
form of marketing. From our experience – and with our skills – we can get you
there.
We have hundreds of sites in all sectors from business, commerce, science and
education and we have taken the best of these design features to build the
National Web Design PowerWeb Advanced Content Management System.
