Typically though a site that will form the backbone of a thriving small or medium business will involve 50 - 100 hours of work total. To remain viable over an extended period of time - to be there if your site needs changes or has hosting problems or whatever - professional designers charge between £50 and £100 per hour depending on experience and skills.
